Apart from our certificates at the highest levels, we can also avail of the necessary licenses by attending refresher courses and clinics

We offer you as a rider high quality instruction, aimed at competitive sports. If you intend to ride in contests and to make progress in your own development, you are most welcome. We work on the basis of optimal feeling and trust between rider and horse which is necessary for achieving any performance on horseback. Koopman Horses wants to coach every rider at his or her level with enthusiasm and we aim at giving you an optimal experience in the equestrian sports.

Because both Ronald and Linda have attended ORUN their basis is the same and are the jumping and dressage lessons well attuned to each other.

If you’d like targeted training and have a specific aim in mind, we are quite prepared to see if these aims are realistic. Together with you we’ll draw up a plan to reach your goals and we’ll regularly evaluate the progress made.

At our accommodation we have all the facilities to train in the best possible way. An extensive package of services is at your disposal: training of horses, daily coaching, guidance at competitions, but also the purchasing of a suitable horse, fitting with both rider and his or her sports aims. Jumping instruction by Ronald

Also in the field of qualified instruction, Koopman Horses can be of service to you. Ronald Koopman has successfully finished all the stages of the KNHS ORUN education, in the field of ‘all round’.

Ronald’s knowledge of, insight in, and feeling for horse riding,  and his understanding of a horseman’s problems, are derived from his own achievements on horseback. His experience and the actual participation in contests allow him to keep in touch with the developments in the competitive sports.Moreover, the purchasing and selling and the training of talented (young) sporthorses contribute to the continuous development of his horsemanship.

Ronald’s qualities as an instructor are highly appreciated by private customers, clubs, and the “Summer instruction weeks” of the KNHS (The Royal Dutch Equestrian Federation).This provides him with the necessary experience.

Dressage instruction by Linda

From the fall of 2006 till the spring of 2009 Linda succesfully rounded off all the stages of the KNHS ORUN-course. Her qualities as an instructor were soon recognized by the KNHS, resulting in her being asked as an instructor after the ORUN for the ’summer instruction weeks’.

Her competition experience built up in many years both sports wide and in national dressage gave her a lot of knowledge of, insight into and feeling for horse riding. This experience extends from breaking in, training and producing the young talented horse for VSN and PAVO Cup to the further educated horse at national level.

If you are looking for guidance from an enthusiastic and talented instructor with the necessary riding experience, but also for instructing children starting as competition riders, you’ve come to the right stop with Linda. Linda’s and Ronald’s lessons are well attuned to each other and can easily be combined.

Possibilities at Koopman Horses for lessons

Koopman Horses can be of service to you in the following ways:

1. Private lessons

If you want full attention and guidance you’d best take private lessons.

2. Group lessons

If you want coaching with horse-riding on a regular basis, together with other combinations of similar level. Pleasant, instructive, and at no great expense.

Single lessons in groups can also be arranged.

3. On site

If you’d like to be assisted during a contest, we can support you with that. You can start at the same contests that we do, so that we are already there. We can also come to a contest with the specific aim to guide you and others.

4. Clinics

Koopman Horses teaches different kinds of clinics. You can think of both dressage and jumping for:

• a test direct clinic
• solving specific problems
• a group lesson
• treating a certain subject or theme whereby Linda or Ronald, for support, ride (their own) horses to illustrate.

Koopman Horses could give lessons and/or clinics abroad, therefor It’s necessaire that we could come over for several days to do lessons or clinics or be able to combinate the trip with horse trade issues.

5. Combination of stabling, instruction, training of horse, and coaching at contest.

If you’d like to be relieved of coaching and give it to someone with knowledge and experience, Koopman Horses can do that for you. In consultation with you we can make a plan for the weekday training, the planning of contests and the coaching thereof. Koopman Horses can take care of everything, from stabling and care to the weekday riding of your horse. Your horse will arrive at the competition well-trained, and with only riding a couple of times a week you can still enter the competition, without it interfering with your fun and the results in the ring.
