Dominick: Freedom Unlimited
A well-known problem with horse rugs is the lack of freedom of movement, often attended by chafing spots on the shoulders and/or the withers. The cause of this lies in the strong tendency a horse sheet has to slide backwards under the influence of movements and hair growth.
D.L.S simple, but very effective
 Rugs without D.L.S.
When a rug slides backwards it causes an unpleasant tension at the shoulders and breast (chafing spots), visible at horizontal pleats in the rug from the shoulder joint in the direction of the back hand.
 Dominick with D.L.S.
The dorsal line, with extra space for the withers, remains in place.
The vertical pleats give the sheet an accordeon effect allowing the horse unlimited freedom of movement.
